This article covers how to cancel or permanently delete a one-time appointment in ZenMaid, with notification options and key warnings about data recovery.
Cancelling an Appointment
Go to any scheduling view of your preference using the calendar icon
.
Select the appointment you want to cancel and click on it.
Use the Status field and change it to "Cancelled".
Right after you change the status, a pop-up window will appear. Here you can select to notify your client, your cleaner, both, or none.

Important
Deleting data from ZenMaid can't be recovered, even on the backend, so you have to be 100% sure you won't need this information later.
Go to any scheduling view of your preference using the calendar icon
.
Select the appointment you want to delete and click on it.
Use the Actions button and select Delete from the drop-down menu.
A pop-up warning will appear on your screen.
Click the Delete button, and the appointment will disappear from your schedule.
Additional Notes
Cancelling an appointment might hide it from your scheduling view. Check the filters on top to find them.
Deleted data from ZenMaid can't be recovered, even from the backend.
