Summary

  • This article explains how to cancel or delete a recurring service and highlights the difference between canceling, which keeps past data, and deleting, which removes all appointments.

Accessing the Manage Recurring Service Page

Option 1: From the Scheduling View

  • From your preferred Schedule View, such as Calendar View or List View, locate the recurring service you want to update.

Recurring services are marked with a special icon.

  • From here, you can either:

1. Click Actions > Manage Recurring Service

2. Click the Edit Recurring Service button next to the frequency.

Option 2: From the All Contacts page

  • From your ZenMaid dashboard, go to Contacts > All Contacts.

  • Use the search bar to find the customer with the recurring appointment.

  • Click on their name in the search results.

  • On the customer’s profile page, select the Appointments tab.

  • On the Active recurring services tab, select the recurring service you want to cancel or delete.

Canceling or Deleting a Recurring Service

Important

  • We always recommend cancelling a recurring service as opposed to deleting it. This way, you can retrieve data specific to the service (Appointment Notes, Appointment Custom Fields, assignment data, etc.)

To Cancel A Recurring Service

  • On the Manage Recurring Service page, click on the Stop after a specific date button.

  • Select the date of the last service (e.g., if the client wants two more cleanings, select the third cleaning).

  • Click Stop after the selected date to confirm.

To Delete A Recurring Service

  • Click Delete on the confirmation pop-up to confirm.
