Summary
This guide shows how to cancel a single appointment within a recurring series for a customer without canceling the entire series.
Important
Cancelling a single appointment only removes that date. The recurring service will continue as scheduled unless you cancel the full series separately.
Cancelling or Deleting An Individual Appointment
Canceling An Individual Appointment
From your Dashboard, go to Calendar View.
Locate the appointment you want to cancel.
Click on the appointment.
Click the Status drop-down.
Select Cancelled.
Deleting An Individual Appointment
Locate the appointment you want to delete.
Click on the appointment.
Next, click Actions.
Lastly, click Delete.
Be sure to choose Only this appointment.
Side Note
Cancellation Notice
If the appointment has a cleaner assigned, setting the appointment status to canceled will trigger a new pop-up asking whether you want to notify the customer or the cleaner.
What Happens Next
Once cancelled, the appointment will no longer appear on the calendar.
Cancelled appointments are hidden by default to keep your calendar clean.
