How to Manage Tasks and Run a Task Report

Learn how to manage your tasks in ZenMaid.

Summary

  • Tasks in Zenmaid allow you to track non-appointment work, follow progress, and review completion status through built-in reports. This is helpful for internal reminders, follow-ups, or one-off items that don’t require a scheduled cleaning.


Creating a Task

  • From your Zenmaid Calendar, click the Actions button.

  • Select + Create Task.

  • Enter the task details and schedule it for the appropriate day.

Side Note

  • You can also click on any space in the Task section of the calendar to create a new Task.


Understanding Task Statuses on the Calendar

  • Tasks are color-coded so you can quickly identify their status:

1. Red Tasks – Active (not yet completed)

2. Grey Tasks – Completed

  • This makes it easy to see what still needs attention at a glance.


Completing a Task

  • Click on the task from the calendar.

  • A side window will open with the task details.

  • Click the Complete button to mark the task as finished.

  • The task will immediately update its status and color on the calendar.


Viewing the Tasks Report

Accessing the Tasks Report Page

  • From your ZenMaid Dashboard, go to Reports > All Reports.

  • Under the Today section, locate Today’s Tasks.

  • Click to open the Tasks report.


Reviewing Tasks in the Report Page

  • In the report view, you can filter tasks using the dropdown menu to see:

1. All Completed and Incomplete Tasks.

2. Upcoming Tasks.

3. Overdue Tasks.

4. Recently Completed Tasks.


Available Actions on the Report Page

  • This allows you to monitor productivity and ensure nothing is missed.

  • On this page, you can also mark complete/incomplete, as well as delete the Task.
