How to Edit the Frequency of a Recurring Service

Learn how to locate a recurring service and update its schedule, frequency, and timing from the Scheduling view or a customer’s contact profile.

  • This article explains how to locate a recurring service from either the Scheduling view or a customer’s Contact profile, and how to adjust its frequency, timing, and effective date using the Manage Recurring Service page.


Locate The Recurring Service

Important

  • Modifications to recurring services can't be undone. In the event of an error, please follow the above-mentioned procedure to rectify the details.

Through Scheduling View

  • From the ZenMaid Dashboard, locate the Appointments icon and select the scheduling view of your preference.

  • Locate the recurring appointment you want to edit and click on it.

  • On the pop-up window showing the appointment details, click on Actions > Manage recurring service OR locate the Edit recurring service button right next to the frequency.


Through Contacts

  • Locate the Contact icon and go to All Contacts.

  • Find your customer using the search bar and click their name.

  • On their contact profile page, select the Appointments tab.

  • On the Appointments tab, click on the Active recurring services tab.

  • Select the recurring service that you want to edit.


Manage Recurring Service Page

  • Once you are on the Manage Recurring Service page, click on the Edit button.

  • This will open a new pop-up window where you will be able to change the following:

    • Start time: The start time can be adjusted.

    • End time: The end time can be shortened/extended.

    • Frequency: How frequently the appointments should be.

    • Day of the week: If it has to be on a specific day of the week.

    • Appointment from when the changes will take effect: Below you'll see all the future appointments of the recurring service, and you can select which appointment the changes should take effect.

  • Once you are done with all the changes, hit the Save Changes button.
