How to Set the Default Color of Your Calendar and Change the Color of Cleaners, Teams, and Appointment Status

Learn how to change colors, avoid inconsistencies, and understand the difference between coloring and filtering your calendar.

  • Calendar colors can be based on Cleaners, Teams, or Appointment Status.

  • Inconsistent coloring may occur if appointments are assigned to individual cleaners instead of teams (see Additional Information below).


Changing the Color of Cleaners, Teams, and Appointment Status

  • From the ZenMaid Dashboard, go to Settings, then Scheduling Views in the Scheduling section.

  • On the Scheduling Views page, you can change each cleaner's color, each Team's color, and each Appointment status color.

  • By clicking the color box next to the cleaner, team, or status name, you can change it.

  • Don't forget to hit the Save Changes!

Side Note

  • Coloring your calendar is different from filtering your calendar. Coloring your calendar will just change the color appearance of the show-by-default appointments. Filtering your calendar will hide/show appointments on your calendar based on the filter you select/unselect.

  • You can change the No Cleaners Assigned color from the Scheduling Views page. By default, it shows as red for appointments without a cleaner.
