This article explains how to create teams to organize cleaners more efficiently. It outlines the available options for setting up teams, customizing team names and colors, and assigning cleaners, while also clarifying how teams appear on the schedule once created.
Important
Each appointment will display one team color only, even if individual cleaners have their own colors.
Appointments will not show split colors.
Instead, the appointment will display the initials of the cleaners assigned to the team.
Creating a New Team in Two Different Ways
Creating a Team via Settings
From your ZenMaid Dashboard, click the Settings icon.
Select Cleaning teams under the Cleaners section.
Click + Add Team.
Enter the Team Name in the blank field provided.
(Optional) Choose a Team Color based on your preference.
Under the team name, check the box next to the cleaners you want to include in the team.
Click Save Changes.
Creating a Team via Cleaners
From your ZenMaid Dashboard, hover the cursor over the Cleaners icon.
Select Teams.
Click + Add Team.
Enter the Team Name in the blank field provided.
(Optional) Choose a Team Color.
Under the team name, check the box next to the cleaners you want to include in the team.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
