This article explains how to track customers who use a specific discount coupon in ZenMaid using appointment custom fields, list view filters, customer custom field reports, and coupon code exports.
Tracking Discount Coupons Using Appointment Custom Fields
Go to Settings (gear icon, bottom left) and select Appointment Custom Fields under Scheduling.
Click +Add appointment custom field.
In the pop-up window, create a field using the drop-down method and list your discount options.
Click Create field to save.
Once each appointment is notated, you can run a revenue report by discount
Go to your Dashboard, then Scheduling, and select List View.
Set your time frame, status, and enter the customer's discount coupon in the "and matching" field.
A running total will appear below the pink Show button.
Tracking Discount Coupons Using Customer Custom Fields
Go to your Dashboard and select Reports, then All Reports.
Find the section called Revenue by Customer Custom Field.
Select your time frame and custom field, then click Run report.
Side Note
A similar report can be created using Customer Custom Fields with the same drop-down method. This report shows the total a customer has spent across all appointments, regardless of which one had a discount applied.
Tracking Discount Coupon Codes Using an Export
Important
This method only applies to coupons created under Coupon Settings using the option "My customers will redeem it when they book with us - Multiple codes; each code can only be used once."
Create your discount coupon codes first. Refer to this article to learn how.
Go to the Contacts page and click Export data under the Actions button.
Under the Appointments tab, select all desired fields and make sure to include Applied Coupon Codes to see which codes were used and by whom.
