How to Add Work Items via Job Estimation

Learn how to quickly create and manage Work Items in your ZenMaid account using the Job Estimation page.

Important

  • Work Items directly affect automatic appointment calculations if you use “Automatically Estimate Amount Owed.”

  • Double-check item names, prices, and order before saving — these values will be used in future bookings.

Adding Work Items

  • From your ZenMaid Dashboard, click the Settings icon.

  • On the next page, under Scheduling, click Job Estimation and work items.

  • Under the Work items title, you'll see the Add work item button. Click it, and a new item will appear on top of the list.

  • Update the new item name, and on the cost part, you can put the price for the work item.


For example

  • Using the icon present in the left part of each work item, you can rearrange the order of your work items list.

  • Once you finish, make sure to click the Save Changes button at the end of the page.


Additional Notes

  • Work items can either be added on the Job estimation and work items page or when you add a new one to your Booking Form.

  • If you use the "Automatically Estimate Amount Owed" on an appointment, this will also take into consideration Work items and their prices.
