Summary
Here's how you can schedule an estimate appointment for a contact in your ZenMaid and send them the estimate information as well.
Important
Confirm if the appointment is for an in-person walkthrough or a quote-only email.
If your account does not show “Estimate” as an appointment status, you’ll need to create it first (see steps below).
Currently, ZenMaid only allows you to assign one of four built-in statuses to contacts: Lead, Recurring Customer, One-Time Customer, or Former Customer.

Select any GIF or image to view it in full screen.
Setting Up The “Estimate” Appointment Status
Go to Settings, then select Appointment Status under Scheduling.
Click Add New Status and name it Estimate.
Click the O+ icon and enable:
Show By Default In Calendar
Use To Calculate Scheduling Conflicts
Disable automatic tracking for:
Work Order
Payroll
Revenue
Late Clock In/Out
(This keeps customers as “Leads” until they schedule an active cleaning.)
If a work order is still needed, select the "Put in work orders".
Drag the Estimate status below “Active” using the up/down arrows so “Active” remains the default.
Do not forget to click Save changes.
Creating An Estimate Appointment Or Quote
Create A New Customer.
Create A New Appointment for the customer using the date and time of the walkthrough or the requested cleaning date.
Add details to Custom Fields and include the estimated price if applicable.
In the Appointment Status dropdown, select Estimate for an in-house walkthrough.
Sending The Estimate Email Or Appointment Confirmation
Open the appointment you created.
Click the Actions button → select Send Email.
In the pop-up, choose the Estimate Confirmation email template.
Click Generate Email.
Review and edit the content:
1. Estimate Appointments: Include date, time, and address confirmation.
2. Quotes/Estimates: Include pricing and service details. Use wildcards to auto-fill data.
Optional read:
Click Send Email to deliver the confirmation.
