How To Edit Appointments In The ZenMaid Mobile App

  • This is a step-by-step walkthrough on making appointment changes through the mobile app.

Important

  • Only Owners and Office Managers can edit appointments in the mobile app.

  • Cleaners cannot edit appointments. Cleaners have view-only access to the appointments assigned to them; they cannot change the status, date, time, address, assigned cleaners, price, or paid status. The only thing a cleaner can edit is a note they created themselves (a cleaner cannot edit notes created by other cleaners or by the office).

  • There is no setting to grant cleaners editing access. To control what cleaners can see, go to SettingsCleanersCleaner permissions.


Accessing Edit Mode

  • To begin, open the mobile app and locate the appointment you want to edit from the calendar screen.

  • Tap the gray arrow ">" next to the appointment to select it.

  • At the top right, select the blue Edit button.


Editing An Appointment

  • Next, you can update the Appointment Status by tapping the current status arrow ">". A dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to choose from all available options.

  • Edit the date, start time, end time, and address. Assign cleaners, adjust the price, or mark the job as paid. Click Save in the top right corner to save your changes.
