This guide walks your cleaners through how to clock in and out using both the app and the web portal.

To ensure your cleaners can use the system, please grant them access. Learn how to do that here.

Select the appointment you want to use to clock in and click on it to open the details.

Below the appointment's details, you will find the clock-in/out buttons. Click the clock-in button when you start working. When using the app for clock-in/out, GPS tracking automatically logs the precise location of the cleaner if the device permits it.

This action will save the exact time when you click the button.

Once you are done with the cleaning, simply click the clock-out button and it will also capture the time.

Cleaners can also access the ZenMaid system on a desktop device. Although the layout is slightly different from the app version, the options are the same.

From the dashboard page, click on the and a pop-up window will open.

Using the dropdown menu, select the appointment you want to clock in/out

Edit the clock-in and out times and hit the save button.

Clocking in/out from the ZenMaid app will carry a timestamp that can't be edited, while doing it on the web version can.

Using the clock-in/out feature on the app can also include GPS data if the device allows it.

Cleaners can only clock in/out from one appointment once.
