Summary

  • This article explains how to configure pricing on the ZenMaid Booking Form, including sliders, extras, base price, minimum booking price, recurring cleaning discounts, and sales tax settings.

Important

  • Linear Scaling Only: Slider prices always increase by a fixed increment per step.

  • The Booking Form does not support dropdown options.

  • Minimum Booking Price Behavior: Once saved, it automatically overrides any total below that amount.

  • Extras are flat-fee items (no percentages or formulas). However, you can use them creatively to simulate pricing ranges.

Example

“0–1000 sq ft” = $150

“1001–2000 sq ft” = $200

“2001–3000 sq ft” = $250

  • Save in Batches: Always save after adding or adjusting extras in case of data loss.

Accessing The Form

  • You can update the Booking Form pricing by going to Bookings > My Booking Form.

  • From there, identify which booking form you'd like to update and click on Edit Form.

Adding Any Element

  • To add an element to your Booking Form, just click, hold, and drag it into place on the Booking Form.

Configuring Your Main Pricing Settings

Sliders

  • In the Form tab, locate sliders for Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Square Footage, and Man-Hours.

  • Add or remove the sliders that apply to your pricing structure.

  • Click the arrow next to each slider to open pricing options.

  • Enter rates for each slider. Values scale linearly only.

  • Pricing is calculated directly from these slider rates plus any optional base or extras.

Extras

  • Add two extras at a time and their pricing. Save in between each set by using the Save Booking Form button located at the bottom of the page.

  • More about extras can be found here:

Configuring Your Optional Pricing Settings

  • The Pricing tab controls how pricing appears on your booking form. Here are the options:

1. Show Pricing on Form:

Choose whether customers see estimated prices as they adjust the form.

2. Base Price:

A fixed amount is automatically added to every estimate.

3. Minimum Booking Price:

Establishes the lowest allowable total for any booking once set.

Setting up recurring cleaning discounts

  • Drag the recurrence option onto the form.

  • Edit the wording and add your desired discounts.

Configuring sales tax

  • Tax is automatically applied in the Booking Form when tax is set to apply to appointments by default in Job Estimations.

  • To prevent tax from appearing, set No Tax as the default in Job Estimations.

Additional Information

  • ZenMaid booking forms scale the prices evenly from bedroom to bedroom, and the same is true for the bathroom sliders. For example, each bedroom is $25, and each bathroom is $35 + a base price. If your price list does not evenly scale, you would need to change your pricing to match the booking form specs. The alternative is to use the booking form to collect as much information about the customer and then call/email them to provide the price to them. In high-competition cities, not showing prices may work in your favor since sometimes showing prices without the customer understanding the excellent service you provide may scare them from submitting their information. If you want the ZenMaid form with no pricing showing installed on your website, please contact the support team for the next steps.
