Summary
This article covers how to customize the work order email and SMS notification templates in ZenMaid, including editing the subject line and body content.
Important
Changes to the work order template apply to all future work order notifications sent from ZenMaid.
Accessing the Work Order Settings
From the ZenMaid Dashboard, go to the Settings icon and select Email & SMS Communications under Features.
Locate the Work Order row under Cleaners Communications, Staff Management section, and click Edit next to Email or SMS, depending on which template you want to customize.
Editing the Work Order Template
Click Preview to review the current template content.
Edit the subject line under the Subject section to match your preference.
In the body, make changes by deleting, adding, or rewriting content as needed.
Under When to Send, use the dropdown to select how many days before the appointment the Work Order should go out, and set the preferred send time.

Click Save Changes to apply your edits.

Manually Sending a Work Order
From any Schedule view (Calendar View, List View, etc.), open the desired appointment and click Actions.
Select Send Email or Send Text depending on how you want to deliver the work order.
In the pop-up, confirm Work Order is selected in the template dropdown and click Generate Email or Generate Text.
Review the content before sending.
Under Send email to or Send Text to, check the box next to each recipient you want to include.
Click Send Email or Send Text to deliver the Work Order.
