VAs make growing your cleaning company easy

As your Maid Service grows, two roles start to show themselves: office manager and operations manager.

The office manager at your cleaning business focuses on being the face of the company and providing great customer support. This role may involve making sales, phone calls, emails, interacting with cleaning clients, developing marketing strategies and more.

However, your Maid Service’s operations manager would be more concentrated in supporting team members in the field. This mobile position would require having someone else in the office.

Ideally, you would want to have both of these positions filled with someone else so that you have more room to be creative within your cleaning company.

VAs don’t need an office

Remote staff can work from anywhere, which means that you don’t need to provide an office in order for work to be done.

Outsourcing your Maid Service’s customer service to a remote worker is also a great way to stay in the technological flow of the cleaning industry.

The role of a virtual assistant not only increases flexibility within the position itself, but it also gives cleaning company owners more freedom. This idea of a schedule that you control is an attractive one, so there are great companies who provide individual VAs to your home cleaning service.

One of the benefits of today’s technological explosion is that it has given people the skills they need to feel closer and understand each other, even if it is virtually.

VAs know what to do for your Maid Service

By getting all the information about your company: what it is, what you do, your service area, pricing, and frequently asked questions, you can more easily onboard a new VA.

However, your virtual assistant can certainly assist you in gathering all of these details about your business as well.

Whatever order you decide, put this information in a checklist that allows text, images, and video. Create something you can have access to so that your company guidelines, schedule, etc. can be easily reviewed or sent over to cleaning clients and staff.

VAs take over your cleaning company’s phone

It can be done. Your outgoing phone calls can be taken off of your plate and given to a virtual assistant.

This can be done in a couple of ways. For one, a local line can be put in place on your behalf and outgoing calls can be made to your cleaning clients by the VA. Voice over IP systems will ring directly to operators on the ground, who will then be able to assist the client with their query.

Another avenue is to use a digital platform as your caller ID, so that your cleaning clients know it’s your Maid Service that is calling. In this case, the call would be forwarded via this virtual platform and translated as your cleaning company even though the VA is speaking with them.

Both routes lead to less of your time spent on the phone so that you have more of it to work on other aspects of your home cleaning business.

A VA communicates with your team

When you have a virtual assistant, internal and external communication can be made easier.

Use Voxer or Slack to allow for communication amongst different teams. Teams can share videos, images, texts and documents from anywhere in the community from their personal phones. If you have issues with your scheduling software, this communication can allow your cleaners to send an image to check-in and check-out of properties.

When needed, your VA can communicate these protocols to your team via these platforms, getting everyone on the same page simultaneously.

Case study: Dan the Maid Service owner hires a virtual assistant

Dan is the proud owner of a company in 4 cities that does home cleaning, window cleaning, bookkeeping, marketing and recruiting software. He wanted more organization and smoother growth when he was assisted by Pink Callers.
